Mary C. Phelps

Not the same as Mary Brooks who shows as her sister, and was named Mary Brook in her father’s will.

Mary C. Gibson was born in 1705 at Hanover County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Thomas Gibson (1667-1734) and Mary Allen Gibson (1642-1734).

Mary married John Phelps (1705-1772) in 1721 in Virginia. Col. John Phelps was the son of John Phelps (1683-1747) and Martha Margaret Talbot Phelps (1684-1747).

Mary died in 1763 at Bedford City, Virginia, USA. She was 58 years old.
