About Mary Sarah (Cable / Kable) Rudd - Adams, Convict "Experiment" 1804
Mary was convicted at the Essex Quarter Sessions on the 19th April 1803. She and Elizabeth Wicker were convicted of theft of a piece of linen at Halstead. Mary was transported on the 'Experiment' arriving in Sydney on the 24 June 1804. After Thomas died Mary married Thomas Adams who had been assigned to Thomas Rudd as a convict labourer. Mary died on the 28th June 1860 and was buried on the 1st July in St Peter's Church of England Cemetery Campbelltown next to her first husband Thomas Rudd.The graves are located close to the fenceline on the Howe Street side of the Cemetery.
