Mary Semple was born February 18, 1914 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, daughter of Henry Semple, Sr. and Jane "Jeanie" Scott Pollock (Jack) Semple.

She is the sister of Henry "Hank", Jr. (1911); James (1912); Janet (1916) and Anna (1918) Semple.

On August 11, 1914 at 5 months, infant Mary Semple died in Vancouver with burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada.
