7. Sarah Tuttle, bap. April 1642; m. in New Haven Nov. 19, 1663, John Slauson (Slason-Slosson), s. of Geo. Slauson of Stamford. In 1700 John Slauson and Joseph Ferris were appointed constable in S. The same year he was rated (english pound)101. Mrs. Sarah Slauson d. Nov. 17, 1676. He m. (2) Elizabeth Benedict (dau. of Thomas of Norwalk, who was delegate to Assembly 1664; Lieut. 1665; town clerk 1666; selectman, deputy May, 1670-75, and deacon many years). By 2d wife John Slauson had Mary, b. April 21, 1680; Thomas, March 12, 1781; Hannah, b. March 12, 1685. He d. Oct. 16, 1706; Inv. Nov. 29, 1706, (english pound)285. Est. settled jan. 11, 1706-7 by John, Jonathan, Thomas, Sarah, wife of Ebenezer Bishop, Elizabeth, wife of Nathaniel Pond, and Mary Slason. (App.)
