About Mary hazel Waldron

Mary H. W. Waldron -- Thatcher, Box Elder County—Mary Hazel Watt Waldron, 60, wife of Calvin Waldron, died at Columbia, Tennessee, either Sunday or Monday, suddenly, at a hospital. She and Mr. Waldron were on a mission in the southern states for the LDS church. They left here last February. Mrs. Waldron was born April 2, 1887, at Layton, Davis county, a daughter of Richard G. and Mary Anne Harris Watt. She received her early education at Layton and the family came to Thatcher in 1898. Mrs. Waldron attended Box Elder high School, Brigham City, and U. S. A. C., Logan. She taught school at Bothwell, Box Elder county, for a number of years. She was married January 29, 1913, to Mr. Waldron in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. The couple lived In Morgan five years before purchasing a farm here. While In Morgan she was president of the Y. L. M. I. A. and in Thatcher she had served as president of Y. L. M. I. A. Primary association and the Relief society.

Surviving besides the husband are the following sons and daughters: Verl and Mable Waldron, Thatcher: Virgil C. Waldron, Mrs. Faye Watkins and Mrs. Arllne Hunsaker, Tremonton; Mrs. Ella Ure, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Elizabeth Waite, Syracuse, Davis county; also four grandchildren and one brother and six sisters, William Watt and Mrs. Melvin Wood, Thatcher; Mrs. Annie Westmoreland, Tremonton; Mrs. Lois Coombs, Honeyville; Mrs. Grace Jeppsen, Corinne, and Mrs. Isabell Robins and Mrs. Hattie Adams, Layton. The body will arrive at Shaw & Koeers funeral home, Tremonton, Thursday. Burial was held in the Bothwell Cemetery, Bothwell, Utah.
