Mary Walker

Mary Meade was the daughter of David Meade and Susannah Everard. She married George Walker and had several children. Three were documented by the DAR (and there were others):

The actual burial site of Mary Meade Walker has been lost to history. Nevertheless, we have placed a Memorial Stone in her honor in the Cantrell Gilliand Memorial Garden.

A descendant of Jacob Wythe Walker, Mary's youngest child, said she died shortly after Jacob's birth in Sep 1778, and before her husband, whose will was probated in Dec. 1781, so our best guess is that she died between late 1778 and 1881.
