About Mary Waugh

Mary Crosby Mountjoy Mauzey-Waugh was born in Stafford County, Va. 6/28/1676 to George Crosby and mother's name unknown. Mary was married 3 times; Capt. Edward Mountjoy in 1710, John Henry Mauzey in 1714 and to Rev. James Waugh in 1723. During these 3 marriages she had 4 children; William Mountjoy, Peter Mauzey, Elizabeth Mauzey and Mary Waugh. In her will dated 3/27/1749 she listed the following; William Mountjoy 840 acres, Peter Mauzey 300 acres, Elizabeth Mauzey-Conway 150 acres and to Mary Waugh-Doniphan the Personal Estate. Mary died in Stafford County, Virginia on 12/14/1756.
