Mary Webster

In 1682, Mary, wife of Nathan Webster was dismissed from Haverhill and became a member of the church at Bradford. In 1680, her father, John Hazeltine, had deeded her land there [see John Hazeltine account] and with her husband she settled there. She was living in 1717, hence it is evidently she whose death as "widow Mary Webster," is recorded in Bradford in 1735. Her husband having been dead for nearly 40 years, she was probably known as the "widow Webster," and hence her husband's name was omitted in the record.
