According to Vis. of Lancs., (1664/5), Matilda Bold was contracted to marry Thomas Gerard in 5 Henry VII, which began 22 aug 1489.[1] She thus must have been born before about 1489. Since the boy she was contracted to marry was 7 in 1489/90, she was probably born about 1480-1489. Since her mother died in about 1480, she was probably born in about 1480.

’In 1490 the marriage of Thomas son and heir apparent of William Gerard, and Maud daughter of Sir Henry Bold, was agreed upon. '[2]

Died 1533 Briely, Lancashire, England.
