Joan Greene, daughter of Thomas Greene, Knt,, was the first wife of Baldwin Freville, Knt., of Tamworth, married in 1389. They had no issue.

He married 2nd before 1394 Maud le Scrope, daughter of Stephen le Scrope, Knt., 2nd Lord Scrope of Masham, by Margery, daughter of John de Wells (or Welles), Knt., 4th Lord Welles.

They had:
one son:

  1. Baldwin, Knt.,

and three daughters:

  1. Elizabeth
  2. Joyce, and
  3. Margaret.

Maud became a Minoress nun after husband's death in 1400.
