Mrs. Mamie Lee Gover, 72, 217 Limestone Street, Somerset, died suddenly Wednesday, July 5, at the Lake Cumberland Medical Center.

Born September 1, 1905, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the former Maggie Burge and Henry Price Rogers, both of whom preceded her in death.

Her husband, W.J. Gover, whom she married on October 12, 1922, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include six children, William J. Gover, Jr., Dayton, Ohio, Pauline Ruttenberg, Lexington, Kentucky, Luid Gover, Science Hill, Ruby Bickers, Bronston, and Geraldine Redmond and Judy Meece, both of Somerset; a sister, Mrs. Oda Gover, Somerset; 21 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a housewife and a member of the Sardis Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Pierce officiating.

Burial will be in the Whitis Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today, July 6, at Pulaski Funeral Home.
