About Melecio Severino

Melecio Severino was a Filipino journalist and politician. He served as the Governor-General of Negros Island from December 1, 1899 to April 30, 1901. He later represented the first district of Negros Occidental at the Philippine Assembly from October 16, 1912 to May 16, 1915, his death.
