MARRIAGE The Canadian marriage record for Melinda D Richardson on 13 Apr 1898 in Strathroy Ontario says that her parents were L R and Melinda Richardson. So Malinda Jane and Melinda D aka Minnie D must be the same person.

In the 1891 census Melinda is named as Minnie D Richardson, and again at her husband's death as Minnie D Richardson.

1891 census: Minnie D Richardson, 18 yrs, b. 1873, Ont. boarder at Strathroy. She might be with the Zavitz family who are related to her mother. George Zavitz married Eliza Burleigh/Burley (Borley?) who might well be Melinda Jane's sister and Melinda D's aunt. Or with another Richardson family.

MARRIAGE 1898: Melinda Richardson of Strathroy, 25 yrs, daughter of LR Richardson and Melinda, marries George Walter Kinder of Strathroy, ticket clerk GWR, son of Edward and Mary. See docs.

1899: Milinda Damoriso Richards and George Walter Kinder have a child, Minnie Grace Kinder b. 24 Dec 1899, in Middlesex Ontario. See docs

1901 census, Ontario: Shows Millinda (sic) D Kinder living in Middlesex Co, Ontario, 28 yrs old, in the household of her mother-in-law Mary A Kinder 68yrs born England, with her husband George W Kinder 31 yrs; their new daughter also Millinda (sic) G Kinder, and George's siblings, Benjamin 25 yrs, and Thomas 28 yrs.

1904: Matilda Damaris and Geo. W Kinder have a child, Mary Winnifred Kinder b. 1 Oct 1904 at Strathroy, Ontario.
