Micah Little

Notes for MICAH LITTLE: The Thigpen Tribe lists Michael Little as the 5th child of Isaac. They cite the will of Michael Little in Edgecombe Co. in 1825, but that Michael left property to his father and Isaac was deceased long before then.Thus, it is improbable that it is the same person. There is evidence linking Micah/Michael of Anson Co. to Pleasant and Isaac Little.

Michael was in census for Anson in 1810 and 1820.A younger Micah appears in 1840. 

Michael Little sells land in Anson Co. in 1829. 

Michael sold 200 acres to Duncan McRae. The sale was witnessed by Elisha Little. 

The first mention of Micah in Anson Co. was this 1808 deedfor land adjacent to Daniel Fones and witnessed by Isaac Little and J. Sherwd Auld. 

Also called Michael in various documents. 

Dot Little has date of death Est.. at Abt. 1826.Jane M. Lindsay has the death 1825.
