He is the son of Michael Dwinnell, Jr. His mother is Hannah Cave, Dr. Michael Dwinnell, Jr's, first wife.) His wife is Louise Page Towne, whom he married on September 27, 1727, in Salem, Essex, Massachusettes, and they had six children.
Date of birth has also been (erroneously?) reported to be 1707.
