Miemie Botha was born on the farm "Vaalbank", Edenbug, Free State, South Africa.
She met and married an Englishman by the name of Jack.
Her husband Jack fell ill with T.B. and was admitted to an isolated ward in a hospital in Bloemfontein.
There wasn't a cure for T.B. in 1937.
She too was infected with T.B.
They had no children.
Miemie had a hair-salon - across from the Bus Terminals in St Andrews Street, Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa.
She died at the young age of 38 years old due to a tumor on her brain, caused by T.B.
The tumor removed from her brain was as big as a golf ball.
She was buried in the same grave as Grandfather Casparus Botha. Her name is inscribed on the grave and not Grandfather Casparus Botha.
