Mitty Ellison

Mitty & her sister Lula died together of members Croup - their lungs filled w/ liquid and they strangled.  

Everyone in the family took turns holding them before they died, but the girls kept getting worse.

They were buried beside their sister going N. Tom built small coops over the graves, but these were later destroyed by hogs.

In the late '60s, John Knox, who still lived on his Dad's old homeplace - showed a relative the 3 cedars Susan had planted to mark her little girl's graves.
