About Moses Payne, Jr.
He was made freeman 26 May 1647. He removed to Boston about 1670, was prominent in town affairs, a selectman in 1648 and 1662 and probably other times. Moses Payne, his wife, and their child were dismissed to the Third or South Church at Boston 28 Dec 1673. He deposed 26 Nov 1690 or thereabouts.
