Mulla Baboo ji bin Khan Muhammad was a resident of Sidhpur, Patan, Gujarat, India during the time of 28th Dai' Sayyidna Ad-Dai' Ja'afar bin Sayyidna Sulaiman Al-Hindi's visit to the city in c. 1022 AH (c. 1613 AD). He is described as having outstanding capabilities in matter of religion and the worldly affairs. He was very quick to dispel the arguments of enemies against the Haqq and to attack them with strong proofs and arguments. He was an expert in the knowledge of logical reasoning and the arts of debate and discourse; He knew Quran-e-Majeed by heart. He was also a poet, fluent in four languages, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, and Gujarati and had a good command of these languages.
