About N.N., Connected to Gruffydd ap Rhys before 1115
Discussion of the children of Gruffudd ap Rhys, and their various mothers, is at https://www.geni.com/discussions/206971?msg=1360216
The sources are clear as to some of the children of Gruffydd ap Rhys by his wife Gwenllian ferch Gruffydd. Before he married her, however, he had other children, by an earlier connection. The identity of the earlier woman is unknown.
Please contact the curator if you find evidence for a name for her.
An earlier version of the Wikipedia entry for Gruffydd ap Rhys read:
Wikipedia: "Gruffydd [ap Rhys ap Tewdr] had four sons by Gwenllian ferch Gruffydd: Maredudd, Rhys, Morgan, and Maelgwn. He also had two older sons from a previous marriage: Anarawd and Cadell, and at least three daughters: Gwladus, Elizabeth, and Nest. He was followed by his eldest son, Anarawd. Of his other sons, Cadell, Maredydd, and Rhys (later known as The Lord Rhys) all ruled Deheubarth in turn."
Anarawd, Cadell, Gwladus, Elizabeth and Nest would be this woman's children.
