Zabriskie in 1972 references "...the baptismal and burial entries here given are from registers of St. Nicolaes Roman Catholic Church..." and states:

"5. child, of undetermined sex, buried November 16, 1600, without baptism."

Some genealogists list this child as "Jean Jr", however the idea of a 17th century Walloon giving his child the suffix "junior" is incorrect both culturally and linguistically, which then brings into question the accuracy of the first name being "Jean".
