Nancy's mother WAS NOT Elizabeth Kice. At some point the they were linked.

The mother of our subject was born in Washington County, Pa., February 23, 1776, and departed this life June 25, 1873, being in her ninety-eighth year. She was the daughterof John Larison and wife, farmers by occupation. By her union with William Gibson she became the mother of twelve children, of whom our subject was the fourth-born. The other members of the family were John, Martha, Henry, George, Elizabeth, Mary, Lucinda, Abel, Thomas, Hiram, and one who died in infancy unnamed.

Death of a Mrs. NancyGibson, who was born iu Pennsylvania February, 23d, 1772, died at the residence ... of this place, died on last Saturday afternoon, after an illness of several months. She was taken to New Birmingham on Sunday for interment ....

There were two Nancy Larrison's born in Washington co. Pa. and both had father's named John. The one who married John Ramsey was born in Amwell township in 1790. She was a descendant of John Larrison "the Dane" who came to NJ. in 1666 and claimed to be a Danish nobleman. Her mother's maiden name was Pelton. Her aunt was Keizah Larrison the great great grandmother of Emeline Maple, Nancy's daughter in law.The other Nancy was born about 1772 and married a man named Gibson. I don't believe they were related.
