Please do not merge or attach to other spouses, parents, or children. None of her children are "documented" to have non Native American spouses. In fact, we are lucky to have what researched records we have of her family. Only because of her children's own recognition in history by their deeds or marriage can we identify them.

She is believed to have 5 children :

1. A-TA-GU-LA-GU-LA (Attakullakulla) , b. Abt. 1708, Seviers Island, TN; d. Abt. May 1777, [now TN]

2. KILLANECA, b. Abt. 1712.

3. KILLAQUE, b. Abt. 1714; d. Aft. May 1757.

4. TAME DOE, b. Abt. 1720; d. Abt. 1760. --wife of 5 Killer (mother of Nancy Ward)

5. BETSY, b. Abt. 1730; d. Aft. 1799. -- wife of Hanging Maw

here has been a lot of confusion about the descendants of Moytoy.I think this is because some people are not aware that there were two Chief Moytoys. The first was Chief Amatoya Moytoy of Chota, b abt 1640, who married Quatsy of Tellico (of the Wolf Clan). The second is Chief Moytoy, aka the Pigeon of Tellico, b abt 1687.The second Moytoy is believed to be either the son or grandson of Amatoya Moytoy.

It is believed that Amatoya Moytoy had 3 sons and 8 daughters. These include Chief Kanagatoga "Old Hop", Nancy Moytoy, and two daughters with unknown names.Nancy Moytoy is believed to have been the mother of Chief Attakullakulla "Little Carpenter", Killaneca the Buck, Betsy and Tame Doe.Tame Doe was the mother of Tsistuna-Gis-Ke (Nancy Ward), and Longfellow of Chistatoa.

In any genealogy there are many sources that if listed would produce more data than the tree itself and many would likely be left out. I normally do not list sources. There are a few sources though that are so invaluable that they dare no be omitted. For example, all of my information as it applies to the Native Americans in my genealogy are the product of my Son, Jonathan R. Rex. In genealogy sources there is very little to no information about the people who first lived in this land. Finding this data is a challenge worthy of his efforts. I list these names only that they should be remembered and those from whom they descended should be able to know. For you though it might be only the start as there is far more to know and it is after all your heritage. In time without any doubt Jonathan will publish his work in detail and that will be a thing to see. Keep an eye out for him and his writing. You will not be disappointed.
