Nancy Moore

Nancy Moore Stewart must have been mother of some of the children of Robert. The other wife of Robert, Mary Clark was born in 1676 which was too young to be mother of the children born from 1683 to 1691. Mary also must have died after 1720 because Robert had at least sons Samuel, Robert, Stephen and Hugh by Mary by that year. These brothers seemed to have the same mother as well. Robert Sr. was also born in 1665, 11 years before Mary Clark. Robert Sr. was married by 1682 to Nancy Moore and had sons Lazarus, James, and Duncan by her. These older sons also left for America earlier than the younger sons.
