From Greensburg New Era, Feb 8, 1906:
Mrs. Nancy Weaver died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Mobley on East Main Street Friday morning. Deceased had been in poor health for many years and her death was not unexpected. She leaves a family of eight children to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Funeral Sunday afternoon at 2 from the late home.

Mrs. Nancy Weaver dead
Mrs. Nancy Weaver, age 75 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Mobley, on East Main Street, at 11 o'clock this morning after a long illness with a complication of troubles. She was the mother of a family of 8 children, all of whom survives her death. Among them are W. H. Weaver and Mrs. Mobley of this city, and Prof. C.H. Weaver of Letta. The funeral services will probably be held at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
