Card of Thanks.

We desire to express our heartfelt thanks to our friends and neighbors, for their kindness and sympathy, shown in our sad berevement and loss of a dear mother, Mrs. Nancy Weaver; also to the Rev. J. £. Fisher for his kind and eloquent sermon, and Rev. A. D. Freeshen for his consoling words at the house, and to the Union Baptist choir, especially to the organist, Miss Stella Porter , also to Edward Woodard for his kind and efficient manager of managing the funeral.

  • We remember with sorrow and tears
  • And will always remember for years and years
  • That our mother is gone to her eternal sleep,
  • From which none ever awakes to weep
  • But now she calmly sleeps at last
  • All grief, all pain, all suffering past.
  • God loved our mother and he thought it best
  • To take her home to be at rest.
  • Asleep, asleep in Jesus
    • - Her children.
