!NOTE He was a cabinet maker, a soldier in the War of 1812. He is probably the Nathan Waldo who bought land in Aurora NY, May 1 1827 and Sep 26 1832, and with Harriet, his wife, sold land in Aurora Nov 19 1880, Jan 31 1881, Feb9 1882 and Sep 30 1885. he removed to Michigan where he died. He may be the Nathan who married Maria, daughter of Benjamin and Leliha (Holmes) De Voe who was born 1817 in Ulster Co. NY or in Owasco, Cayuga Co, NY and died after the birth of her first child, but this is doubtful. If so he must have been twicemarried (Waldo genealogy p 879, manuscript of Henry A Waldo.
