Not the same as Nathaniel Bliss, of Longmeadow, son of Samuel Bliss & Sarah Stebbins, who married Mary Morgan & Mary Dorchester.

Nathaniel Bliss was born in Springfield on January 26, 1671, the son of John and Patience [Burt] Bliss, and died in New Lebanon in 1751.

Family

Nathaniel Bliss, married Mary Wright of Springfield, Massachusetts, on February 3, 1697/8.

John Bliss, brother of Lawrence Bliss, married Patience Burt. Their son, Nathaniel Bliss, married Mary Wright of Springfield, Massachusetts, on February 3, 1697.

Their children were:

1. Nathaniel, died young. Born in Springfield.
2. Henry, born October 25, 1701; married Bethia Spafford. Born in Enfield.
3. Nathaniel, born October 26 1704; married Mehitable Spafford on September 4, 1723/24. Born in Enfield.
4. Mary, born March 3, 1706; married Moses Hatch on February 1, 1748. Born in Lebanon, Connecticut.
5. Martha, born October 30, 1709; married Jabez Lyman on January 29, 1730. Born in Lebanon, Connecticut.
