Biography
Nathaniel Hopkins was born about 1684, probably in Truro, the son of Caleb and Mary (Williams) Hopkins.[1]
He married first about 1724 at Truro, Lydia _____. She is otherwise unidentified, but likely the Lydia Hopkins who owned the covenant at Truro Church on 22 July 1727. She was the mother of all his children.[1]
Nathaniel married as his second wife, Sarah (_____) Higgins, the widow of Eleazar Higgins who died in Boston shortly before 17 August 1743. Sarah was the mother of 8 children by Higgins.[1] Caleb and Sarah married at Truro on 26 October 1749.[2] Sarah was living in 1752.[1]
He died in Truro between 09 May and 23 June 1752, the dates that his will was written and proved.[1]
