Samuel Packard and Elizabeth (Stearm)-not proven as yet- are Nathaniel's parents.There are several questions about the correctness of the Stearm name.

Nathaniel married in Taunton to Miss Lydia Smith, daughter of John Smith and Lydia Eliott, in 1682. The Smith name is proved by Lydia's fathers will mentioning her and her spouce as his daughter and husband.NOT Kingman...

This family I place in "Limbo Land" as the both died in Bridgewater,Plymouth Co.,MA. but the cemetery is not certain,at this date. It is "assumed" that it is in Bridgewater.

Elizabeth was made a widow by the death of Samuel (Nathaniel's Father) on 7 Nov 1684 in Bridgewater, Plymouth county, Plymouth Colony. She is mentioned in his will.

Elizabeth married again, another widower named John Washburn. Elizabeth and John were married about 1685. John died on 12 Nov 1686 in Bridgewater, Plymouth county, Plymouth Colony.

Elizabeth died sometime after 27 Oct 1694. When and where exactly is not known, and neither is her place of burial.
