Nathaniel was a Friend (Quaker)

Nathaniel was born to John and Elizabeth Feake Underhill in Killingworth, Oyster Bay on 22d 12m 1663 [22 Feb 1664].[1][2]

Nathaniel and Mary Ferris announced their marriage intention at the New York (Flushing) Monthly Meeting on 27d 12m 1685 [27 Feb 1686].[3] He married Mary Ferris in Matinecock, Long Island, on February 27, 1685-6.[1]

Nathaniel and his bride sold out his property in Oyster Bay to his half-brother John Underhill in 1686 and removed from Long Island to land in Throgs Neck, Westchester, purchased from John and Sarah Turner.[1]

Nathaniel died in Westchester on November 10, 1710.[1] he was buried in Underhill Cemetery, Williams Bridge, Bronx, New York

Nathaniel and Mary had, in Westchester, (in what became in 1898 the Bronx in New York City):

1. Thomas, b. December 4, 1687.[1]
2. Nathaniel, b. August 11, 1690.[1] married Mary Honeywell
3. Benjamin, b. October__, 1694.[1] married Hannah, and has a son, John Underhill.
4. Abraham, b. 1697.[1]
5. John, b. 1700.[1]
6. Mary, b. 1704, married Joseph Horton.[1]
7. William, b. April 7, 1707.[1]
