Biography ==Nehemiah Williams was born in 1694/95, the first child of Eleazer Williams and Mary Hyde of Stonington, Connecticut.

He married Deborah Williams on 16 June 1719 at Stonington. She was the daughter of John and Martha (Wheeler) Williams.

They had at least seven children.

His wife Deborah died in 1756.
He married, secondly, widow Hannah (Lester) Stoddard onMarch 2nd, 1757. Nehemiah Williams died 25 Aug 1778, at the age of about 83, in Stonington.
