About Nellie Mae Landzes Garcia Wyatt
Mary Captiola was a captive and an educated woman, maybe from Spain? She knew Spanish as a captive learned Comanche and Kiowa, she also knew German and English. Then later she married Frank Noggles but she already had Nellie May Yellow Wolf 1/2 Comanche 1/2 Spanish or Mexican then later Nellie became Nellie Noggles. Then Nellie Noggles got with Black Beard while off translating for Quanah Parker. Yellow Wolf became sick, he called for Nora to see her before he died to look at her to see if he thought Nora was his before he died. Nora was taken to him still a kid somewhat scared of him. She remembers being scared and being forced to stand and turn so this old Comanche Yellow Wolf could look her over and he agreed she was his Granddaughter. Now Black Beard was a Kiowa Chief who took both Comanche and Kiowa's in, he couldn't write and he signed for both of their rations Kiowa and Comanche. Got with Nellie and had kids with her. Nora, yes Nora had to go let that Yellow Wolf looked at her somewhere in Carnegie or Hobart. So, you will find death certificate there in one of those towns, we are the offspring of Yellow Wolf and Black Beard Comanche and Kiowa people with the Spanish from captive Mary Captiola. My Dad told me the same story that came out of Grandmother Nora's lips.
