Neville (78), was murdered on 10/10/2006 in his home in Walmer, Port Elizabeth, EC. Neville suffered multiple stab wounds to the head, neck, and upper torso.

Police spokesman captain Verna Brink said the body of Neville Eva was found by a friend, Andries Snyman, in the bathroom of a granny flat at the back of his property, where he had been dragged after being stabbed to death.

“Eva was attacked in the main house and then dragged to the back cottage, where his body was dumped in the bathroom,” she said.

Brink said Eva had sustained multiple stab wounds to the head, neck, upper torso and also had defensive wounds on his hands. “We have not established a time of death,” she said.

Brink said the house had been ransacked. She said police had not been able to establish if anything had been taken, but believed the motive behind the killing was robbery.

Brink said a case of murder had been opened, but no arrests had been made.
