About Nicanor Trajano Tiongson
Nicanor Trajano Tiongson was a member of the HUKBALAHAP (Hukbong Bayan Laban sa Hapon) in Nueva Ecija. He used the pseudonym Mariano Leongson.
HUKBALAHAP consists mostly of poor peasants of Central Luzon headed by their Supremo, Luis Taruc of San Luis, Pampanga. They used gerilla warfare in fighting the Japanese soldiers occupying the Philippines.

He was the first born son of Don Arsenio Tiongson and Doña Potenciana Trajano, and was married to Eugenia Tumale.
