1. There is no proof that Nicholas is the father of Samuel. I am including this information as part of my research-Patrick.
2. Appears to have been a signatory to the Remonstrance of the Inhabitants of the Town of Flushing, New York, to Governor Stuyvesant, drated December 27, 1657, regarding the treatment of Quaker immigrants.
curator remark" Perhaps Nocaholas had a son Nicholas (Jr.) who signed the Remonstrance. This one died before the document was written.
3. Owned land on Staten Island, 1655. (Monette’s ‘First Settlers’).
