About Nicholas James Vetrovec

Hello Family,

I've been working on my family tree since 2000. My Didier family tree was originally passed onto me by my aunt Kathlyn Vavroch (Didier) (1945-2013) and I've enjoyed building onto it ever since.

My goal here on Geni is to add and connect family so I can share the tree with them. I'd like to give them the opportunity to join in on the fun of building the tree together and connecting with cousins from all over the world.

Research techniques

I conduct most of my research from online documentation found on ancestry and familysearch record archives. I rarely copy information from other researchers trees but do cross reference them to conduct record searches, unless I am adding a family line to the geni tree using smart copy, which I will check and make sure the information is well documented. I use DNA matches to confirm relationships and find connections previously unknown. I also conduct research down generations to find and locate living family with the intention of inviting and sharing the tree with them.

Tree information found on Geni, Ancestry, Familysearch, MyHeritage, Wikitree, and others.
