Her Testament Dative

The testament dative and inventory of "Nicolas Maxwell, Lady Cleghorne" was given up by John Hinshelwode in Cleghorn, lawful creditor to the defunct. Her other creditors included: "umqle Allane Lockhart brother germane to umqle Allexr Lockhart of Cleghorne" who was owed :"ffiftie merks money prnll sowme & ten merks of pennaltie" James Lockhart of Cleghoen acted himself as cautioner for John Hinshelwode and confirmation was granted on 1 August 1643.
