About Nikema Williams, U.S. Congress
Nikema Williams (born July 30, 1978) is an American politician and political executive serving as a member of the Georgia State Senate for the 39th district. She is also the chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia. In November 2020, Williams became the presumed representative-elect for Georgia's 5th congressional district, and she will fill the seat vacated by the late representative John Lewis.
