!Ist papers for Naturalization filed in Duluth, St. Louis, MN, 9 Oct. 1882. #482 found at Duluth Public Library. On them he said he landed in New York in July 1881. I did not find him on the 1885 census for Duluth. However he got his final papers in District Court of the Eleventh Judicial District, St. Louis Co., Duluth, 4 Aug. 1898. In the city directory of 1898/99 he is listed as Berg, Nicholas B., fisherman, boards mouth of Lester River. This last
information in a letter from Gerald Sime dated 27 Oct. 1994. In my letter file under s.
!DEATH: St. Louis County Death Record 00860; Died in Cook Home, Duluth; Residence was Knife River, Lake Co. Seagren Funeral Home, Two Harbors, handled arrangements. He was single.
