Nino Herlitzka

Nino Herlitzka was an italian engineer involved in industrial enterprises in Italy and Argentina . His grandfather Saul Modiano was an important banker and industrialist in Trieste. Also he published: In Tema di Esportazione, Tipografia Luigi Parma , Bologna, 1944, 87 pages, dedicated to the memory of his grandfather ( Saul Modiano).
He obtained in July 30, 1923, his degree as an Engineer specialized in Chemical Industries at the Politechnico di Torino, Italy.
He secretely married Maria Rosa Binello, Rosetta, on march 24, 1928 and then he informed it to his parents, just to avoid any opposition. They had one daughter Livia Herlitzka.
By 1942 they were almost split and by the end of 1944 they were discussing the divorce terms who ended brutally after Rosetta death under a lost bullit during the war on the streets in Bologna, by the end of 1944 or early 1945.
By the early 40’s he owned a company , who directed: S.A. Vitam, in Bologna, via Oberdan 19
During mid 1945 he was hospitalized due to Tifus at the Villa Serena Hospital in Genoa and he recovered.
Afterwards he was between Bologna, Roma and Torino ( where his mother has her Amministrazione Vittoria Modiano, in via Valeggio 36, who oversaw her investments).
Between 1945 till 1951 he also stayed in Buenos Aires as member of the Techint S.A. business group.
His early trips arrivals to Buenos Aires, where he stayed at his uncle Mauro home in Arenales 1011, were:
October 8, 1923,from Genoa at the Principessa Mafalda, he was 25 years old
June 29, 1928, from Genoa at the Giulio Cesare, he was 30 years old.
December 21, 1929, from Barcelona at the Giulio Cesare, he was 31 years old.
