Biography
Cherokee Name: " Oo-na-olar-lar" William M Scraper diied of Consumption aka : Tuberculosis TB, contracted TB sometime before he enlisted to fight with his father's regiment. He furloughed for illness and later died, Louisa and the girls tended to him all night for his wounds but he died the next day. They had to keep him quiet, because people were searching for him all night. He is buried in Scraper Cemetery, near Christie, Adair County Oklahoma.
