Buried in West Cemetery, east of Strang, OK. Cherokee name was Tri-ni-goo-dlow-hi-dur. Indian Chieftain, Vinita, Indian Territory, March 13th 1884 Mr. Joseph Scraper, whose return from California was noticed in a recent number of this paper, in failing health, we regret to state, died at the residence of his father, George W. Scraper, in Vinita, last Monday. The family suffering under this affliction have our sincere sympathy. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. Clark, wife of Judge G. W. Clark. He married ABT 1875, Ellen Clark, b. 17 Dec 1857 in Tahlequah, I.T., d. 17 Jan 1934 in Strang, Okla, buried in West Cemetery, east of Strang, OK.buried in West Cemetery, east of Strang, OK.
