Opal Sears passed away on January 13, 2012 at age 99. She was a longtime resident of the Anadarko Chickasha area. Granny you are the sunshine of our lives, a loving, selfless, compassionate mother, grandmother and friend. Opal was married to Arthur Sears for over 50 years.
While living in Anadarko, she was an active member of the First Christian Church and several civic clubs The Delphian and Rebekah's.
Opal is survived by her immediate family her son Darrell Sears and granddaughter Lisa Sears and many loving family and friends.
Granny and I have been down a few long and winding roads but her heart lead me back to her door. Granny you are loved more than words can express and will always be a part of our lives.
A special thanks to the dedicated caring staff at Bradford Village Retirement Center in Edmond for taking such good care of Granny for the past 5 years.
