Oscar H, Bachman, 80, 320 E. Cherry St., Palmyra, died at 6 a.m. today in the Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. A retired Hershey Chocolate Corporation employee, he later worked ten years at the W. L. Kreider shoe factory, Palmyra. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Palmyra, and the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday school. A native of South Annville Township, he was a son of the late George and Mary Bowman Bachman. His wife, the former Annie Hoffer, died in November, I960. Surviving are two daughters, Esther, wife of William Wolf, and Anna, wife of John W. Klinger, both of Palmyra; five sons, Penrose 0., Canastota, N. Y.; Paul J., Palmyra; Lloyd, Harrisburg; Titus E., Palmyra RD 1; Donald O., Aldie, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News, July 20, 1963]
