Owen Mack

Was born in Portland ME.

He owned and operated a cigar store until he went into the Army at age 27. He served the the European Theater during World War II and was stationed in England, Africa and Germany. His father Joseph Mack was strong when his other sons went into the service, but when it came time for his baby Owen to leave, he broke down.

When Owen came out of the service in 1947, he married Annabelle Boxstein, also a Portland native. In 1948 their son Joseph was born.

Owen was a partner in the Odorite Company, a wholesale janitorial supply company in Portland. He retired in 1985.

(As of 1993 Mack Reunion) Annabelle and Owen resided in Portland and spent the summer months at their cottage in Old Orchard Beach ME
