age 87, of Beechfork Rd., Clay City, husband of Ola McQueen Farmer, died Friday, Dec. 28 at his home. He was born September 21, 1920 in Jackson County, KY to the late Sidney
Green & Nellie Ann Marcum Farmer. He was a Retired Hills Greenhouse employee. Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Ola Farmer, Clay City; brother, Johnny Farmer; sisters, Juanita Harper, Maggie Franklin, and Janette Huff, all of Richmond, IN; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, daughters, Patricia Mason and Joyce Allen, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Services were Sunday, Dec. 30 at Wells Funeral Home, Stanton by Rev. Herbert Barnett with burial in Kennon Cemetery, Clay City. Pallbeaerers were: Palmer Ray Allen, Joshua Shane Allen, Aaron Dwain Allen,
Robert Lee Mason Jr., Spencer Allen, B.J. Hensley, and Michael Hensley. Honorary pallbearers were: Tyler Fitzpatrick, Conner Allen, Dustin Palmer Allen, Hospice Employees, Troy Brooks, and Dr. Kuntz.
