About Patricio Confesor
Patricio Confesor was born on March 17, 1900 in Cabatuan in the Philippine province of Iloilo. He was the youngest of three sons of Julián Confesor and Próspera Valenzuela. One of his older brothers was Thomas Confessor. Confessor studied at Harvard and the University of California. During his studies he was active in the field and as a student. The Twentieth World War log was Confessor's captain at the guerrilla's in Panay. Shortly after the heroism of the Philippines by the Americans, in 1945 he became governor of Iloilo province for at least one year. At the inspection of 1949, Confesor named the 3rd district of Iloilo into the Philippine House of Foreign Affairs. He served a term from 1950 to 1953 and during that period was a member of the commissions for labor, defense and provincial and municipal affairs. He was also one of the leaders of the commission for benevolence.
