About Paul Mahrer
Pavel Mahrer, German Paul Mahrer, (May 23, 1900 Teplice - December 18, 1985 New York) was a footballer of the Jewish origin playing German clubs in Czechoslovakia between the wars, Czechoslovakian representative.
He participated in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924. In the Czechoslovak representation he played six matches in 1923-1926. For amateur representation he joined in 1926-1928 in 3 games. In the Czechoslovak league for the Prague DFC Prag and Teplitzer FK, he entered 55 league matches and scored 1 goal.
After the occupation of the Czech lands, Mahrer was taken to the Terezín concentration camp, where he participated in the so-called Terezin League.

"In 1943, he succeeded his American wife, through the organization of the International Red Cross," spell out "from Terezin and transport to New York, where his trail ends ..."
