OBITUARY:
NEVIERA, Paul Richard. A gentleman and a gentle man, 72, a resident of Canton and Pocasset, raised in South Boston. Paul was the beloved husband of Virginia (Druzdis) Neviera for 47 beautiful years. Deeply loved father of Doug Neviera of Stamford, CT, Julie and her husband Lee Andrade, Liz and her husband Bill Carven, and Christy and her husband Jay Gill, all of Scituate. Cherished Grandpa and Bubbie to Dougie, Allison, Owen and Michael Neviera, Tripp, Donovan and Laken Carven, and Jack and Genna Gill. Paul was the loving brother of Joanne Shalna and the twin brother of Ruth Nauyokas, both of South Weymouth, and the late Albina Alekna. He is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was a 1964 graduate of Boston College and received his Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University in 1966. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era serving at the Pentagon. Paul was a Partner at Deloitte for many years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of Pocasset Golf Club and arguably the best cook ever. Together with his wife, Ginny, Paul enjoyed traveling, golf and, most importantly, being a part of the day-to-day activities of his beloved children and grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, CANTON, Thursday 3:30 to 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Paul's life will be held on Friday, October 30th at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Blue Hills Cemetery,
