About Paul Reilly
Paul was "the funny one," always laughing and making up jokes. He was also very generous. His childhood could not have been easy. Besides the loss of his 2 young sisters, he had to go through several corrective surgeries. He was around 14 when his father died. He spent his life caring for his mother, while he and Edmund ran Reilly's Florist. In his later years, after Edmund's injury he kept the business going until his own illness became debilitating. Still, Paul was able to enjoy life.
Regarding his family history, he always told us we were O'Reillys until we came to America. "Then they used the O for a toilet seat." That's Paul.
